Sheffield Storm All Stars are a competitive cheerleading squad who will train to compete at and International Level. Forget Pom Poms and Ra Ra skirts, competitive Cheerleading is a serious sport. (see the All Star section for more info)
The teams main focus will be to choreograph and perform award winning routines and compete Nationwide in prestigious competitions. Equal to this will be the aim of promoting sport to young people across the region by making it fun and enjoyable and in turn promoting the city of Sheffield. Sheffield Storm will evoke pride and spirit in the community and provide young people with the opportunity to build self esteem, self confidence and a fun outlet to get fit and meet new friends.
There will also be the opportunity to train to become a Cheerleading Coach funded by Sheffield Storm. (Applicants must be over 16 and successfully gain a place on squad.)
Who can participate?
Sheffield Storm will recruit through schools, colleges and Universities but is not limited to students. Anyone over the age of 6 can tryout in the next series of tryouts due to be held mid july! Keep checking back for more info!
